1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Evo888 ("we", "us", "our") is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. It applies when you visit this website, download the Evo888 Android app from it, play in the browser version, or open Evo888 from a shortcut on your iPhone or iPad home screen.
We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended in 2024 (the "PDPA"). Using Evo888 means you accept the practices set out below. If you'd rather not, please stop using Evo888.

2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run Evo888 and keep it working well.
Login details. The ID and password tied to your account, which let you sign in and play.
Messages to our support team. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, for example your ID, phone model, Android or iOS version, screenshots and the message itself.
Download records. When you tap Download APK or scan our QR code, our hosting server notes the IP address, the time and the type of device that made the request.
Website usage data. Cookies and analytics tools record your browser and device type, the pages you open and a shortened, anonymised form of your IP address. Section 9 explains cookies in more detail.
There are things we never collect: your location, your contacts, your photos and your device ID.
Sharing details in a support email is up to you. If something we need is missing, we may not be able to resolve your request.
3. How we use your information
Your personal data helps us to:
- sign you in and let you play on the app, in the browser version and from the home-screen shortcut;
- deliver the APK file to your phone and spot misuse of the download link;
- reply to support requests and fix the problems you tell us about;
- protect accounts and games and prevent abuse;
- learn how the website is used, so we can improve it.
We never sell your personal data. If we ever want to use it for something not listed here, we'll ask you first.
4. Who we share it with
Personal data is shared only when it has to be, and only with:
- Service providers that host this website and the APK file, send our emails and run our analytics. They may use your data only to provide their service to us, and they must protect it as carefully as we do.
- Authorities, when the law obliges us to, such as under a court order or a regulator's request.
Your personal data is stored in Malaysia. Analytics data is handled by Google and may be processed outside Malaysia. Google protects it with its own safeguards, and the IP address we pass on is anonymised.
5. How long we keep it
We hold personal data only while we need it:
- Login details: for as long as your account is active, then deleted within 12 months of the account closing.
- Support emails: for 24 months after your most recent message.
- Download records: for 30 days.
- Analytics data: for 14 months.
We keep data for longer only where the law requires it. Once we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
6. Keeping your data safe
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Connections between your device and Evo888 are encrypted, only the staff who need your data can reach it, and our service providers must meet the same standard.
No system can be made perfectly secure. If you believe your account or data is at risk, email us right away.
7. Your rights
The PDPA lets you ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong, incomplete or out of date;
- stop or restrict how we use your data, or withdraw consent you've given;
- transfer your data to another organisation, where this is technically possible.
To make a request, email [email protected] and put "Data Protection Officer" in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity first, so your data never reaches the wrong person. We'll respond within 21 days, free of charge.
If we're unable to do what you ask, we'll explain why.
8. If there's a data breach
Should a breach affect your personal data, we'll report it to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as soon as practicable. If the breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we'll also tell you without undue delay, explain what happened and suggest steps you can take to protect yourself.
9. Cookies and the home-screen shortcut
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser.
Essential cookies remember that you've confirmed your age and keep your preferences. The website can't work properly without them, so they stay on.
Analytics cookies come from Google Analytics and show us which pages people visit and how they move around the website, with IP addresses anonymised. We only set them if you agree on your first visit, and you can change your choice whenever you like.
Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website from working.
The home-screen shortcut. Adding Evo888 to your iPhone or iPad home screen works like a bookmark. It stores no extra personal data beyond what the browser version already uses.
10. Age
Evo888 is only for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
11. Changes and languages
We may revise this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with a new "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also point it out on the website.
This policy is published in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Where the two versions differ, the English version applies.
12. Contact and complaints
Questions about this policy or your personal data can go to our Data Protection Officer at [email protected], with "Data Protection Officer" in the subject line. We reply within 1 to 2 working days and complete formal requests within 21 days.
If our answer doesn't resolve your concern, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.
